The 13" precision ground turbocut blade is Marquench hardened for that long-lasting razor sharp ARS edge. The blades are chemical nickeled for superior rust and sap resistance. The wooden C-handle fits comfortably in the hand and is perfect for undercutting.

5 of 5 ARS wood C-handle pruning saw February 8, 2022

I use pruning saws every day in my work as an arborist, and used this type of handle for years before the ones that are common now became pretty much the only type of handle available on a small pruning saw.  Developed serious wrist ligament problems using the newer style.  This C-handle keeps the wrist straight while cutting, instead of cocked toward the pinky with the new style.  Found this model by ARS and went back to using it exclusively.  Wrist pain went away and never came back.  Compare your wrist position with this type of handle vs. the type now most common to handsaws and you will immediately understand the superiority of this handle shape.  Blade is same as other ARS 13 inch saws- cuts beautifully.
